My instruments will be available on display and for trial at the following two events in February and March 2013.

If you are interested in viewing and trying instruments but are unable to attend the events on these dates, please get in touch and we can arrange an opportunity to do so, at your convenience.

Violin Makers Scotland


An invitation to a special 10th Anniversary showcase concert and exhibition of instruments to celebrate 10 years of collaborative working between the members of Violin Makers Scotland


 The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

Concert: 1pm—2pm in The Guinness Room

Post-Concert Reception and Exhibition: 2pm—4pm in the Cafe Foyer

The concert will be played entirely on instruments made by members of Violin Makers Scotland  featuring talented players from the Conservatoire and will showcase a violin made by the group in celebration of 10 years of working together in Scotland.

 This year we are proud to welcome award-winning bowmaker Gary Leahy who will have a selection of his fine bows for display and trial.

 There will be a selection of Arcus carbon fibre bows and other string accessories courtesy of AR Distribution.

 Meet the makers and try instruments at an informal reception in the foyer following the concert.  Refreshments will be available.

The British Violin Making Association presents the 16th annual




Over 40 makers from the UK and overseas display violins, violas, cellos and their bows. Whether you’re just curious or intend to buy, this is your chance to try the best contemporary work.
